Placing an order
We accept orders both through the website and over the phone. We can take card payment over the phone for orders placed within the UK, but the billing address must match the delivery address. We reserve the right to cancel an order if any discrepancies are spotted by our sales team. Customers will receive email notifications about orders and delivery updates. Returns
Returns are accepted for any reason up to 30 days from the day of delivery. Goods must be in as-new condition. All of our products are covered by an 2 year warranty, with products being repaired or replaced if a fault occurs. We can provide a free courier returns label for any faulty items that need to be returned to us – please contact us for more details. If you wish to return a product for any reason, please e-mail us at queries@laserware.co.uk with your name and order number.

Your data will also be shared with the courier delivering your order. Couriers are not classed as data processors under ICO guidance — they act as “a conduit between the sender and recipient.” Our couriers may include:

Couriers may email or text you with delivery updates but will not use your contact details for any other purpose.

We retain your data for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, and to meet our legal obligations. In particular:
- • Order and financial records are kept for accounting and tax purposes, generally for 6 years, in line with HMRC requirements
- • Under the Consumer Protection Act 1987, we have a legal duty to be able to contact you in the event of a product recall. We retain your name, address, product purchased, order reference, and email address for 10 years for this purpose only
- • Cookie and analytics data is retained for no longer than 14 months (see “Cookies” below)

Cookies
We use cookies, together with Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use our website and to help us improve it. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, please contact us first at gdpr@laserware.co.uk so we can try to put things right — we aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and keep you updated on progress. You also have the right to complain to the UK’s data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), at any time at www.ico.org.uk. If you are based in the EU, you may also complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.
Your right to have your data deleted
You can ask us to delete the data we hold about you by emailing gdpr@laserware.co.uk with the subject “Delete my data request.” We will erase eligible data within one month. Please note that, for legal reasons relating to accounting and product recall obligations, we may need to retain some data for the periods set out above even after a deletion request.
